This allows ample scope for the dogs to be integrated into suitable play groups according to size and compatibility. Most of the dogs are known to us, thus little difficulty is encountered in achieving this. Our current client base is well in excess of 1000, and since we operate a high occupancy all year round, we are able to screen new clients. We discourage those with non-castrated male pets. This policy not only makes things simple to manage, but is also popular with existing clients who feel secure in leaving their pets in this type of environment.The system works well and results in pets showing enthusiasm on arrival since they obviously remember with pleasure their previous stays at Pampered Pets. This the pets clearly demonstrate to their owners.The play areas are gravel based and ample shade is available provided by the many trees and shrubs, creating a relaxed garden environment. The dogs are allowed to run free during the whole day, and they are only separated at meal times and at bedtime to sleep. The officeThe office is kitted out with a desk, a stereo radio/cd player that plays throughout the kennel areas. The computer is set up with a dedicated kennels software system. The catteryAt Pampered Pets the cattery is located in its own dedicated area. The layout is again informal, split into 3 areas. Each cat has a specific house, with a sleeping area and daytime relaxing area. These houses have the facility to join together for groups of cats from the same family.During the daytime all the houses are opened onto a common enclosed area where the cats can play and relax.
